When replacement is needed
The diesel particulate filter (DPF) traps soot and burns it off during regeneration; on newer vehicles it is combined with the oxidation catalyst and SCR catalyst in one housing. If the filter is full of ash, cracked or blocked by too many short trips, the vehicle reports differential pressure faults (P2002, P2452 to P2463), loss of power and limp mode. A used original DPF with low mileage is a cost-effective alternative to a new part and keeps the type approval; after fitting, the workshop has to reset the ash value. Compare the OE number – even within one engine code there are different filters depending on the emissions standard.
Used or new?
Almost all particulate filters in our stock are used original parts – tested, with mileage stated where known, and covered by a 12-month warranty. New parts (0 km, usually genuine stock) carry a 24-month warranty. The condition is stated on every item. We do not charge a core deposit on spare parts – that applies only to engines and gearboxes.
How to find the right part
What matters is the OE number (original part number) on your old part – cast in, stamped or on the label. Enter it in the search box above or compare it with the number in our product title; we also list equivalent numbers from other manufacturers (Bosch, Denso, Valeo, Pierburg …) where known. Used or new – what do I get?
The condition is stated on every item. "Used" is a tested original part from our stock with a 12-month warranty, "New" a part with 0 km and a 24-month warranty.
Is there a core deposit on spare parts?
No. We charge a core deposit only on engines and gearboxes. Spare parts are paid at the stated price; you can keep or dispose of the old part.
How is it delivered?
Securely packed as a parcel, or you collect the part in Nortmoor (Germany). Large parts such as cylinder heads or catalytic converters are packed accordingly.
