When replacement is needed

The A/C compressor compresses the refrigerant and is driven by the serpentine belt; on hybrids and EVs it runs electrically. Typical failures: seized compressor after refrigerant loss, faulty magnetic clutch, leaking shaft seal or bearing noise – the air conditioning stops cooling or the belt squeals. Used original compressors by Denso, Sanden, Valeo or Delphi are a cost-effective alternative; after an internal compressor failure the condenser, dryer and expansion valve must be replaced as well and the system flushed. Compare OE number, pulley (number of ribs, diameter) and connections.

Used or new?

Almost all a/c compressors in our stock are used original parts – tested, with mileage stated where known, and covered by a 12-month warranty. New parts (0 km, usually genuine stock) carry a 24-month warranty. The condition is stated on every item. We do not charge a core deposit on spare parts – that applies only to engines and gearboxes.

How to find the right part

What matters is the OE number (original part number) on your old part – cast in, stamped or on the label. The condition is stated on every item. "Used" is a tested original part from our stock with a 12-month warranty, "New" a part with 0 km and a 24-month warranty.

Is there a core deposit on spare parts?

No. We charge a core deposit only on engines and gearboxes. Spare parts are paid at the stated price; you can keep or dispose of the old part.

How is it delivered?

Securely packed as a parcel, or you collect the part in Nortmoor (Germany). Large parts such as cylinder heads or catalytic converters are packed accordingly.
