When replacement is needed
The oil pump supplies bearings, camshafts and turbocharger with pressure; many newer engines have regulated pumps with a solenoid valve or pumps with a balance shaft module (e.g. VW 2.0 TDI, Kia/Hyundai GDI). Wear, a sticking control valve or a sheared drive (the hexagon on the 2.0 TDI) lead to low oil pressure, the oil pressure warning light, rattling and in the worst case engine failure. Used original pumps with low mileage are a cost-effective alternative. Compare engine code, OE number and whether balance shafts or drive chain are included.
Used or new?
Almost all oil pumps in our stock are used original parts – tested, with mileage stated where known, and covered by a 12-month warranty. New parts (0 km, usually genuine stock) carry a 24-month warranty. The condition is stated on every item. We do not charge a core deposit on spare parts – that applies only to engines and gearboxes.
How to find the right part
What matters is the OE number (original part number) on your old part – cast in, stamped or on the label. Enter it in the search box above or compare it with the number in our product title; we also list equivalent numbers from other manufacturers (Bosch, Denso, Valeo, Pierburg …) where known. If in doubt, send us your VIN and we will check which part fits.
