When replacement is needed
The flywheel transmits engine power to the clutch; on most modern vehicles it is a dual-mass flywheel (DMF) that damps torsional vibration. Worn spring packs, excessive play or overheated friction faces lead to rattling at idle, judder when pulling away, vibration and gear-shift noise. A used original DMF by LuK, Sachs or Valeo with low mileage is much cheaper than new; replace clutch and release bearing at the same time. We also stock single-mass flywheels and flex plates for automatic gearboxes. Compare OE number, ring-gear tooth count and bolt pattern.
Used or new?
Almost all flywheels in our stock are used original parts – tested, with mileage stated where known, and covered by a 12-month warranty. New parts (0 km, usually genuine stock) carry a 24-month warranty. The condition is stated on every item. We do not charge a core deposit on spare parts – that applies only to engines and gearboxes.
How to find the right part
What matters is the OE number (original part number) on your old part – cast in, stamped or on the label. Enter it in the search box above or compare it with the number in our product title; we also list equivalent numbers from other manufacturers (Bosch, Denso, Valeo, Pierburg …) where known. If in doubt, send us your VIN and we will check which part fits.
Frequently asked questions: flywheels
Will the part fit my car?
If the OE number matches, yes. Many parts come in several variants depending on model year, engine and power level – which is why we compare number by number. If in doubt, send us your VIN and we will check for you.
Used or new – what do I get?
The condition is stated on every item. "Used" is a tested original part from our stock with a 12-month warranty, "New" a part with 0 km and a 24-month warranty.
Is there a core deposit on spare parts?
No. We charge a core deposit only on engines and gearboxes. Spare parts are paid at the stated price; you can keep or dispose of the old part.
How is it delivered?
Securely packed as a parcel, or you collect the part in Nortmoor (Germany). Large parts such as cylinder heads or catalytic converters are packed accordingly.
