When replacement is needed
The water pump keeps the coolant moving; it is driven by the timing belt, timing chain, serpentine belt or – on newer engines – electrically. Leaking mechanical seals, worn bearings, broken plastic impellers or seized control valves (on switchable pumps such as VW 1.4/1.5 TSI, BMW N20) lead to coolant loss, overheating and grinding noises. Used original pumps with low mileage are inexpensive; on belt-driven pumps it pays to replace them together with the belt. Compare OE number, drive type and flange pattern.
Used or new?
Almost all water pumps in our stock are used original parts – tested, with mileage stated where known, and covered by a 12-month warranty. New parts (0 km, usually genuine stock) carry a 24-month warranty. The condition is stated on every item. We do not charge a core deposit on spare parts – that applies only to engines and gearboxes.
How to find the right part
What matters is the OE number (original part number) on your old part – cast in, stamped or on the label. Enter it in the search box above or compare it with the number in our product title; we also list equivalent numbers from other manufacturers (Bosch, Denso, Valeo, Pierburg …) where known. Used or new – what do I get?
The condition is stated on every item. "Used" is a tested original part from our stock with a 12-month warranty, "New" a part with 0 km and a 24-month warranty.
Is there a core deposit on spare parts?
No. We charge a core deposit only on engines and gearboxes. Spare parts are paid at the stated price; you can keep or dispose of the old part.
How is it delivered?
Securely packed as a parcel, or you collect the part in Nortmoor (Germany). Large parts such as cylinder heads or catalytic converters are packed accordingly.
